This is our second coffee from Alexander Hernandez Toledo. We've purchased two harvests of the Geisha from Finca La Esmeralda and this year we loved their Caturra too.

We're trying to make coffees with classic flavour profiles a more stable portion of our offering, so that our customers get the chance to drink very refined and complex coffees regularly. This coffee fits the bill excellently. The key takeaway from our end is the excellent structure of the cup, something we've also noted in the Geisha lots, which has pleasant bitterness to balance the high acidity of the coffee. Add to that the soft fruitness and florality that caturra is known for and we've got a truly excellent example of a 'typical' coffee from Huila.
