We're always happy drinking coffee from the Nyeri region. Situated on the South Western side of Mount Kenya, this region has produced some of our favorite coffees throughout the years.
This lot from the Ndiaini Co-op carries on that tradition with gusto. In the cup there's a good dose of soft black tea bitterness that balances the acidity, making for a complex structure that elevates the coffee. There's dried fruit quality to the aroma and taste and the combination of that with the cup structure is excellent. There's a pleasant vanilla like finish here too adding even more complexity to what is already a fantastic coffee.

Recommended Brewing Recipe:

  • Espresso: 20g to 48g in 28 seconds
  • V60: 20g to 340g in 3:30 minutes
  • Tricolate: 20g to 400g in 4:30 minutes
