The Chelchele station will be well known to anyone who's been around coffee for a while. Coffee from this station is featured in roasteries offering lists the world over, and is seen as exemplary of coffee from the Yirgacheffe region.
This lot is a natural and has natural process character in spades. It's a huge bright fermenty cup, with plenty of mouthfeel and acid. It's got a pleasant floral note and, in the cup, has a really nice peachy character that elevates the experience a lot.
It's a classic fruit forward expression and definitely worth purchasing some if you've never tried "Yirg" coffee before.

We think this information should be normal, not exceptional. Here’s what we know about this coffee.
Ethiopia
FOB is the price paid for the coffee before shipping, insurance and local costs.
Our landed cost is what the coffee cost us by the time it reached the roastery.
Neither number is the farmer’s final income, and landed cost is not our total cost to roast and sell the coffee, but it gives a clearer picture of the economic impact of our business.
