We're incredibly pleased to offer coffee from one of the world's iconic roasteries.

Anyone who's been around the Josie Coffee sphere will have heard Greg, our head roaster, talking about Scott Rao's influence on both the industry at large and on the approach to coffee we have at Josie. Scott co-founded Prodigal with friend Mark Benedetto in 2023 after years of book writing, consulting and courses; putting into action the best practices gleaned from this experience.

This coffee is a new varietal for Josie, hybridised to help farms mitigate the spread of leaf rust whilst keeping cup quality up. Tabi, literally meaning 'good' in Guambiano language, certainly lives up to the name here. Scott mentioned that this coffee might just be in the top three coffees purchased by Prodigal this year, high praise indeed.
