Sey Coffee - Colombia - Luis Arnulfo Caro - Chiroso - Washed Process
Featuring as our second ever 'international roaster' we have the New York based Sey Coffee.
Sey have gained a reputation as one of the premium specialty coffee roasters, worldwide. Each time our team has tasted one of their coffee's we've been blown away and we're happy to pass on this experience to our customers, in Australia.
Much like one of our recent favourite varietals, pink bourbon, chiroso is a Ethiopian hierloom coffee varietal and is quickly becoming known for its excellent cup quality. The cup character of this lot represent exactly what we'd hope for in a chiroso; plenty of upfront, ripe, fruitiness and good structure with pleasant balance and structure.
Luis Arnulfo Caro is the brother of longer term Sey coffee partner, Jose Arcadio Caro and looks set to be a regular of the Sey coffee line up. We certainly hope to be able to purchase more of this coffee too!
