Dak Coffee Roasters, based in Amsterdam, are known for their coffee buying, purchasing some of the most experimental and out there coffees in the world. That said, their reputation is built on a solid bedrock of excellent roasting and the coffees we've purchased really highlight their skill and the incredible results in the cup that hybrid roasting machines can give. In that regard, we see them as kindred spirits.
We're excited to showcase this excellent coffee from the renowned Finca Voo, in Tarrazu, Costa Rica. Last year, this lot won first place in the Cup of Excellence experimental category! The coffee's melon acidity is undeniable which and it lingers and adds complexity to the fermentation of this lot; which, as it cools presents a bounty of pleasant brown sugar that reminds us of an African washed process coffee.
